I was in town for a dog show and needed someplace that was open later. I am a huge sushi fan and try to support the local sushi establishments wherever we travel. We did takeout. The food was still beautiful, the service was quick, and the portions are good. Price is expected though I feel the hand rolls are a great deal. WE got the Philadelphia roll, a spicy tuna hand roll, and the Butterfly roll. They all tasted delicious though the hand roll was my favorite. I will definitely be back next time I am in town.

Delicious all you can eat restaurant, where everything is cooked fresh and they serve you. No getting up and getting your own food where the food might have been sitting there for a while. A little pricey so come hungry and eat your dollar worth.

Go there about once a month. The sushi is very good. Sometimes I prefer sashimi so I ask for the dinner menu (cost more) instead of the lunch menu. If you order fried rice request a half order at a time, even a half order is alot, and you can always order another half order if needed. We always get shrimp tempura and the fried dumplings are awesome. We get miso soup as well. Service is very good.

I have been here several times with my mom and we about twice per month. The food has always been delicious and fresh. The sushi masters are very good at making the rolls look phenomenal on the plating and they put great detail and attention into presentation. They are very professional and are quick with service and the waiters or waitresses are very friendly and make you feel very welcomed.

Go here once in awhile with a large work group. Get the all you can eat lunch and it is always nice. Love the scallops and unagi. Must get the green tea ice cream!! Price was about $22

We have been visiting Akita for MANY years, I can't believe I haven't written a review yet. One of our favorite things about Akita is that there's no unnecessarily loud music. It is one of the very few restaurants that my sound sensitive son can sit in without noise canceling headphones. We have never had a bad food experience here but have had a few servers that weren't great - but that can happen at any restaurant. Overall, we love this place and will continue to go for ever and ever.

My family comes in frequently. This place has THE BEST all-you-can-eat menu around the Twin Cities. The shrimp tempura is crunchy and delicious. They have delectable appetizers like dumplings, spring rolls, edamame, scallops, and wings. Their maki rolls (sushi) menu is full of the most creative and tasty selections, like the sushi pizza, crazy roll, sexy girl roll, dynamite roll, dragon roll, rainbow roll, and tons more, but the snow mountain roll is my favorite! I would recommend trying their fried rice and teriyaki udon as well, because they are always made to perfection. The red bean ice cream is one of my favorites and is one of the few around to still serve it! If you aren't a fan, their green tea ice cream is a classic, and they have other flavors too. I love the atmosphere, and every time we have gone, they have always been attentive throughout the service and asking if everything is done well or if we want more (one of the several times we went, we did wait a bit longer, but someone came and asked if we had been helped, and someone then came ASAP!). Overall, they are doing an excellent job here, and I hope they know their food is always appreciated by me and my household! Looking forward to my next visit.
